    A fine Victorian Hand painted Miniature Portrait of Mary Eleane Beale, looking much the matriarchal figure. From her attire I would guess painted towards the end of the Victorian period. Presented behind glass (which is a little small for the frame)in a simple brass pocket watch style frame and small ring hanger, unsigned but by a very skilled hand. The size of the miniature is55mm wide x 43mm wide, the frame size is shown below.

    A stunning Miniature Portrait of a young Georgian Lady, Miss Jane Sawyer the daughter of Admiral Herbert Sawyer dating to around 1790. The miniature is presented behind glass in a simple oblong narrow brass frame, there is an inscription on the back which have just managed to decipher. Really superb detail painting and so Georgian in its styling. There is some damage to the base material namely some fine splits in the ivory at the base, very difficult to photograph. The size of the miniature is 80mmhigh x 62mm wide, the frame size is shown below.

Superbly painted and completed on a much larger scale than is normal measuring 5 1/4" x 3 7/8". the frame is one of the best original ormolu you are likely to come across. the frame size is shown below

    This listing is for a Hand Painted Miniature Portrait of a grand lady, possibly a Grand Duchess from a European Country, presented in a large gilt oval hanging frame. The sitter is not identified but obviously a person of importance. She is portrayed with precious stones in her hair with a blue dress edged in white lace. She has a red cloak draped around her shoulders. The frame has a bow at the top with garlands of flowers which run down to either side of the oval frame. The frame size is 23cm High by 11 cm Wide
