A very fine Victorian Tobacco Box in a turned Lignum Vitae probably produced in norther Europe around 1860/1880. The banded ribbed bottom half with ebony turned knop. To fit the lid down tight just push down and twist to the right and the lid sits down nice and tight making a good seal.

An early 19th Century Chip Carved Bowl, a nice country piece carved from solid Sycamore. The inside crudely carved with the outside carved in a chip pattern design with a flat base, would look stunning on a period dresser base or table.
