A 19th Century Hand Painted Berlin Porcelain Plaque depicting a head and shoulders portrait of a young woman in profile. The detail is stunning, especially the gold line work along the front of her headdress, dressed in a high collard top coat with a single gold chain. The ebonised frame has been carved out in the center from solid wood with a gilded oval center. There is a news paper cutting attached to the back of the frame with the back of the plaque visible through a glass panel fitted to the back.

This is a lovely hand painted miniature portrait of a young girl dating to around 1926,named only as Pamela with the artist named as M.Bullz, it contains this written information inside with a date which is smudged which we are guessing at 1926. The girl is dressed in a blue top with a red hat perched on the back of her head and painted against a blue background with blue eyes and very long blond hair and has a very old tassel attached which could be as old as the miniature its self. The miniature is quite small but beautifully painted. The miniature is presented behind glass in an oval gilt pendant frame with the back panel a dark coloured velvet pad.

A superbly painted miniature portrait of a young boy, Edwardian or slightly later and dating to around 1915/1920. The painting is quite vibrant with a very colourful palette with the young boy painted against a vivid blue background and painted in a three quarter length pose looking to the right. Our young sitter has brown hair which is curly and is wearing a multi coloured top with lace collar. The miniature is presented behind glass in a gilt oval pendant frame with a ribbed border with a design of crossed over knots.

A superbly painted miniature portrait of a young Edwardian lady, painted and signed by the American Artist Mrs Franklin Gibbs pf Boston USA, initialed A.G. and is dated 1907. (All of this information is contained in a hand written note behind the miniature) The paint quality is superb, precise brush work around the face and delicate painting of the lace work around her neck. She has bright blue eyes with her hair tightly curled and she is wearing a white dress with a high lace collar with what appears to be a small bouquet of purple flowers below. Our sitter has been painted facing to the front with an outward gaze against a light neutral background. The miniature is presented behind glass in a gilt oval pocket watch style frame.

A wonderful large miniature portrait of a very young child painted in water colour on card. Lovely reddish brown hair and bright blue eyes. His attention has been caught by I think a butterfly. The young boy is named as 'Allan' and dated 1921, painted by artist L.D.Grew. Presented behind glass in a large gilt pendant frame with hanger at the top.

A beautiful painted Miniature Portrait of a young girl aged around 4 or 5 years old and dating to around 1920. Painted by listed artist J.Johnson A.R.M.S. Royal Academy Exhibition. Painted with a softer palette with the little girl painted in a three quarter length pose, sitting with her hands in her lap holding a small bunch of flowers. The miniature has been painted on Ivorine and not Ivory. Our young sitter has quite a serious expression and has sharp blue eyes, light brown hair which is quite short and wearing a pale peach coloured dress. The size of the miniature is 76mm high x 66mm wide with the frame size shown below.
