    A very fine pair of French Side Tables, sometimes known as Gueridons. Finished in banded veneers of Rosewood, Kingwood and Tulip Wood. The shield shaped top with gilt banded edge with the center of geometric inlay fanning out from the center. Each top is fitted with a sheet of glass to protect the veneer. Below the top on all four sides is a gilt metal grill. The table sits on four cabriole legs with a gilt mount to each shoulder and finishing with gilt Sabat feet covers.

    An exceptional large Country House Fire Screen we believe dating to the end of the eighteenth century or just into the nineteenth. Stunning carving with 'C' scrolls and a fan like center with cut through sections. Carved pillars on either side supporting the actual screen with a channel cut on either side to allow the center panel to slide down and into place. The wool work panel has suffered some damage with losses in the center and some loss of colour over the years it is still a good historical piece. To help preserve the panel for the future we have fitted a shaped glass panel to the front.

    A fine William IVth drop flap Ladies Work Table, the central top in a Plum Pudding Mahogany Veneer, dating to around 1830. The side flaps are supported by hand carved scroll supports on each side. With 2 full width drawers to the front and dummy drawers to the back allowing the Work Table to be viewed all round. The table sits on a single tapering block column with an oblong platform and four out swept legs finishing with brass Lion Paw feet with hidden casters.

    A superb French circular Bijouterie Table veneered in both walnut and kingwood with ormolu mounts dating to the end of the 19th century.The hinged above four glass panels around the outer body with gilded outer borders matching the top. The interior is lined in a padded red velvet base perfect for showing off the treasures inside. The table sits on 4 cabriole legs with at the top of each leg a gilt metal 'Cariatide' figure of a lady with also on each side of the leg is an applied gilt metal band running down to the bottom finishing with a 'Sabat' foot cover. A solidly built, heavy and imposing table.

    Fresh from our workshops is this superb and stunning Victorian Show Frame Walnut Armchair. Restored and polished and upholstered in a stunning GP & J Baker fabric in blue tones with flowers and birds. A curved back rail with the center carved with flowers and leaves flows down and terminates in upholstered arm rests and knuckle ends on lovely open supports. Cabriole front legs with carved flowers at the top united by a curved front rail with brass casters and pot wheels, sabre legs to the back again with brass casters and pot wheels.

    A superb example of a Victorian Gentleman's Armchair fresh from the workshop, restored and polished and re-upholstered in a beautiful cream brocade with a matching braid. A curved back rail terminates with nicely carved roundels and carved ends to the arms. Deep buttoned back and sides sitting on carved cabriole legs at the front united by a carved and curved front rail, carved boss again with carved ends with sabre legs to the back.

    A superb Mahogany Bijouterie Table of Lyre shape with ormolu mounts with original beveled edge glass, lock and key in the manner of Louis XVI. The unusual lyre shaped top with below four glass sides on four fine cabriole legs with ormolu mounts to each shoulder and sabot feet covers below. The interior is lined in a red silk fabric with gold rope edge piping to the inner base.

    A superb Hexagonal Victorian Chess Games Table. The top inlaid with squares of Rosewood and Satinwood with a stepped outer edge above a decorative frieze. The top sits on a large bulbous and fluted column with a bowl shaped carved boss above a small carved petal collar finishing with a further petal shaped base with out stretched feet with rolled over ends.

    An exceptional Rosewood Tea Poy or Tea Caddy on Stand manufactured between 1840-1860. The round stepped top with acanthus leaf carved edge opens to reveal a fitted interior with inside lid hand painted in gold a Chinese Pagoda with a border of scroll work. The lower section is fitted with 2 round tea canisters, one for Black Tea and one for Green Tea, the glass mixing bowl is a later replacement. The caddy sits on a faceted vase column finishing with a large carved boss and a tri-form base with each leg carved and fluted with square edge casters below.

    A superb hand carved Victorian Walnut Ladies Nursing Chair, restored and re-upholstered in a fabulous machine embroidered silk fabric. The round back with deep buttoning has a carved center of flowers and leaves with carved through sections around on both sides down to the seat. The deeply carved legs united with a carved front rail have caster to both the front and the back.
