A superb ladies mahogany Bonheur du Jour inlaid with satinwood marquetry panels of urns and shells. The back frieze fitted with a shelf with an inlaid marquetry urn in it's center with turned finials on each end supported by fret cut brackets. Below is a cabinet with astral glazed door flanked by beautiful inlaid urns in satinwood. Below the top is a single full width drawer with a border of satinwood stringing and cross banded mahogany. The top sits on four tapering legs with satinwood stringing and fret cut corner brackets at the top of each leg.

LADIES WALNUT BUREAU IN THE LOUIS XVI MANNER

A fine Ladies Walnut and Mahogany Bureau in the Louis XVI manner dating to the middle of the 20th century with applied ormolu mounts and built in writing surface. The top section of the bureau is inlaid with a center panel of walnut with satinwood stringing and an outer band of mahogany and three drawers with ormolu handles with above the fronts matching the top inlay with a band of ormolu below on all three sides. Below this is the curved bureau front that opens as the lower drawer is pulled open, a secret mechanism that works perfectly with ormolu mounts of acanthus leaf top and bottom. The interior has three further small drawers and a black leather writing surface. The top sits on cabriole legs with ormolu mounts at the top and sabat feet covers at the bottom, also comes with working lock and key.

A very fine solidly built French Empire style Bedside Cabinet dating toward the end of the 19th century around 1880. The main body of the v=cabinet is finished in a burr walnut with a single thin marble inset top. Below id=s a single drawer with inlaid satinwood stringing border.Half round columns on each corner with gilt mounts at the top with inlaid panel at the bottom. The single door has a geometric design of satinwood borders with a central marquetry panel depicting an urn with flowers. The interior is lined with a white veined marble. The cabinet sits on four round tapering legs with gilt feet covers.

A superb restored and re-upholstered French Salon Sofa in the Louis XVI manner. Of wide proportion giving generous sitting area with well padded back supports and padded arm rests. Carved back rail with central leaf motif, carved scroll work and scrolling leaves. Gilt wood finish worn and rubbed in places just adds to its character, straight from the workshop upholstered in a modern pale grey open weave fabric with a cream braiding.
