A very Fine Japanese Meiji Period hand carved sectional Ivory Okimono figure of a Woodsman carrying an axe in his right hand with a basket of wood on his shoulder and a water gourd on his hip. The Okimono is signed to the base. he is in excellent antique condition, a little yellow in colour and some ingrained dirt but complete. No obvious missing items and no splits in the figure.

A very small and detailed carving, part Ivory and part Bone. Possibly Dieppe School depicting Mary Magdelene carved on a turned stand. Detailing is quite superb with great attention given to the face and the folds of her cloak both front and back.

A very Fine Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1921) sectional Okimono carved figure of a Fruit Seller who is holding in his hand I think a peach or similar soft fruit. There is a signed red plaque built into the base which carries the signature of the carver. The carving is delightful with a lovely smiling expression on his face, there are numerous engraved leaf carvings on his tunic on both the front and back, also on the base.

A very fine Japanese Meiji period hand carved Okimono Sectional Figure of a Farmer or Peasant holding in his hand possibly a lettuce or similar leaf produce. It does have a two character mark to the base which would be the carvers name. As well as the leaves he is holding in his left hand he has at his waist a wicker basket which would appear to be full of the same produce.

A superbly carved Japanese Meiji Period Okimono of a Bee Keeper. He has about his body various applied Gold Bees with a Gold Plaque set into the back of his hat. There is a Mother of Pearl blade to the tool he would use to harvest and scape honey from the comb with further MOP leaves at his feet. There is a red lady bird applied behind his scraper. At his feet is a bowl with one of the gold bees on the outside. He stands on a hard wood base with a hard wood knop to his staff.
