SUPERB ROSEWOOD FOLD OVER CARD TABLE
An excellent quality Rosewood Fold-Over Card Table dating to around 1840. The top with rounded corners above a deep frieze with carved chain moulding and a square central applied panel. The top opens to reveal a small storage area for playing cards and counters, when fully open there is a new green baize playing surface. The card table sits on a single column with carved acanthus leaves to the base with carved collar. The base finishing with beautifully carved Lion paw feet and claws. In excellent antique condition, restored and french polished in our workshop, with new green baize playing surface.

VICTORIAN INLAID SOFA RESTORED AND RE-UPHOLSTERED
Newly completed in our workshops, restored and re-upholstered is this stunning late Victorian walnut sofa with superb inlay detail. The fabric we have used is a smooth velvet with pattern of pheasants, flowers, leaves and ferns in a mixture of greys against a black background. The inlaid back panel with carved crested rail ending in carved roundels and carved knuckle ends to the upholstered arms. A curved front rail also inlaid united with carved legs finishing with brass casters and pot wheels. The back legs are of a sabre form again finishing with brass casters and pot wheels.
