A most unusual inlaid Display Cabinet of diminutive form being only 42" in height. Produced in the Louis xvi style with bomb shaped base tapering from a Pagoda shaped top finishing with a velvet pad. Veneered in King Wood and panels of Burr Walnut with Satinwood banding. There is a single hinged door with glazed panels all round. Short stubby legs with gilt sabat feet covers with additional gilt mounts on the edges of the bomb shaped base. The interior padded shelf and base covered in a red plush velvet. A most unusual cabinet and one I have never come across in over twenty years.

An excellent quality Rosewood Fold-Over Card Table dating to around 1840. The top with rounded corners above a deep frieze with carved chain moulding and a square central applied panel. The top opens to reveal a small storage area for playing cards and counters, when fully open there is a new green baize playing surface. The card table sits on a single column with carved acanthus leaves to the base with carved collar. The base finishing with beautifully carved Lion paw feet and claws. The fabric we have used is a smooth velvet with pattern of pheasants, flowers, leaves and ferns in a mixture of greys against a black background. The inlaid back panel with carved crested rail ending in carved roundels and carved knuckle ends to the upholstered arms.
