The shoe is outlined down the front with pins forming a double row of stitching finishing with a flower on the toe. On the underside there is a line of pique work that follows the shape of the sole and heel with two patterns in the sole.

Although dating from the 20th century this hand carved large Table Snuff Box is very much in the Georgian Style. Carved from a single piece of mahogany with push on lid which sits well. Lovely imitation lace holes with defined outer carved lines forming the shape of the shoe. An English late Georgian Snuff Shoe in the form of a gentlemans boot. Carved from Mahogany it has fine carved stitch marks an a finely defined heel and sole. The Sole has a pewter heel of which part is now missing. The lid is certainly a later replacement and a small part of the carved top which the lid slides into is also missing. However these minor blemishes do not distract from the overall appearance. A really nice tactile shoe that fits comfortably in the hand

This is a quite large Table Top Snuff Shoe carved from a single piece of Mahogany with nicely defined simulated lace holes at the front with brass pins and carved lines. The toe is cut straight across with further incised designs with a well defined heel and sole. The lid has an engraved design to a Mother of Pearl plaque with small bright cut pins in four rows. The lid has at some time lost it's pin for the hinge and has some simple tape lines to secure it. An old repair that really does not distract from what is an unusual and interesting Snuff Shoe. There is further pin work to the sole with simulated stitching to the heel with deep chisel cuts.

A perfectly proportioned Late Victorian Cast brass Pocket Snuff Shoe with a simulated stitched front with indentations to mimic the lace holes. The sole and heel are well defined and on the base of the heel is an inset copper horse shoe shaped band. Also the sole has simulated stud work around the edge. The lid opens and closes well and the hinge is strong and would have manufactured around 1890.

This listing is for a Table Top Snuff Shoe dating to around 1890 or 1900. Finely carved from solid mahogany and inlaid with ivory panels to the sides and front. The lid is carved from Cow Bone with a twist action. This closes against another piece of Bone held in place with fine pins. An additional quality feature is the pattern of fine pin work design on the sole and heel of the shoe.
