An early 19th Century Chip Carved Bowl, a nice country piece carved from solid Sycamore. The inside crudely carved with the outside carved in a chip pattern design with a flat base, would look stunning on a period dresser base or table.

A PAIR OF MINIATURE MAHOGANY APPRENTICE MADE FOUR DRAWER CHESTS
This listing is for a matched pair of Miniature 4 Drawer Chests dating from around the early 1900's. Possibly made as apprentice pieces they are slightly different in size to each other but the quality and condition is very good, considering their age. The design is quite simple with the drawers pinned and glued but with a 45 degree angle added around each edge to the drawer front. They stand on a plinth base with brass ball bun feet.

A FAUX ROSEWOOD MINIATURE APPENTICE ESCRITOIRE
This listing is for an amazing quality miniature french style Escritoire or Sectretair Abatant. As an apprentice piece it really is a Tour de Force, slightly naive in it's execution but stunning when viewed from all angles. Below the top drawer is a fall front flanked by ebonised mock pillars below which are 3 further drawers each with ivory turned handles.
The fall front reveals an interior in miniature with a mirror center flanked by mock ebonised pillars with a shaped top. On either side are 4 sets of drawers, you will see from the pictures one of the handles is missing.

COROMANDEL SINGLE COMPARTMENT TEA CADDY
This listing is for a 19th Century single compartment Victorian Coromandel Tea Caddy one of the most expensive and exotic wood veneers. The quality is superb considering it's probably 0ver 150 years since it's manufacture.
Applied to the front is a fret cut brass escutchen with it's original lock and key. The caddy stands on replacement bun feet and the interior has been lined so can be used as it was originaly intended.
The compartment lid is in mahogany with an ivory knop.

WILLIAM IVTH. INLAID FLAME MAHOGANY TEA CADDY WITH 2 COMPARTMENTS & GLASS BOWL
This listing is for a quality Tea Caddy from around 1820/1830. The Top and all four sides are veneered in a wonderful Flame mahogany which has an outer border of pear wood or satinwood with cross banded mahogany with a further fine line of satinwood and ebony. On the front is a ivory escutchen and an original lock, no key available at present. The caddy contains two lidded Tea compartments both with flame mahogany tops and inlay work to match the exterior. There is an original glass bowl which sits in a red velvet lined interior. Unfortunatly this has suffered damage over the years and does have some chips and a small crack but is not realy visible when on display.

CAMPAIGN TRAVELLING PAIR OF CANDLESTICKS
This is a really fine superbly turned pair of Travelling Candlesticks. Very popular with military officers as they took up so little space in there kit but where extremely practical. Once open and assemble they quickly turn into a pair of candlesticks, as the photographs show they even include brass scones to make the candle completely stable
